Privacy & Cookies

This policy explains how LawMantras (“we”) handles personal data when you use lawmantras.com.

What we collect

  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your email address and message to reply to you.
  • Information collected by advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website.

We do not ask you to create an account, and the site search runs in your browser.

Your choices about ads

Where required, a consent message lets you choose how cookies are used. You can change ad personalisation settings at Google’s ad settings or block cookies in your browser.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Write to response@lawmantras.com with the subject “Privacy”. If we do not resolve your grievance, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Retention

We keep emails only as long as needed to respond and for our records, and no longer than 12 months after our last exchange.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change, and change the “Last updated” date above.
